Fall Guys Crochet Pattern

Fall Guys is a video game where you control your character through a series crazy obstacles and team games. Each round, a number of participants get eliminated. Your goal is to be the last fall guy standing and get the golden crown!

From the moment that I saw these cute little characters, I knew that I had to try crocheting one for myself! After seeing how adorable these little beans turned out, I wanted to share this pattern so that others can make their own cute character as well. This pattern will show you how make your very own Fall Guy. In addition, I also show you how to make a crown that your guy can wear. I hope you like it!

Materials

  • Crochet hook, 2.75mm
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Felt (black – for the eyes)
  • Fiber Fill/Stuffing
  • Yarn (any color yarn for the body – I used purple, white yarn for the face, yellow colored yarn for the crown)
  • Hot glue gun & glue (for glueing the felt eyes on, alternatively you can use a needle and some thread to secure the felt eyes onto the face)

Optional Materials

  • Stitch marker – I won’t be mentioning this in my pattern, but I rely on stitch markers to keep track of my stitch count and the start of my rows when I am crocheting.
  • Pins – I use pins to help visualize where pieces should go and help keep the pieces in the right location while sewing. I also use a few pins to keep the crown in place on top of the Fall Guy’s head once he is completed. This allows the crown to stay on his head while I move him around.

Pattern Abbreviations

hdc – half double crochet

Putting the pieces together

Pin together Fall Guy before sewing.

Stuff the feet and arms with fiber fill or the stuffing of your choice.

Align the body parts together in the place you’d like to sew them. I recommend using pins as you figure out the perfect placement and to keep the body parts in place as you sew. Remember to remove the pins as you sew to avoid accidentally sewing a pin inside your Fall Guy or hurting yourself when sewing. I also cut the felt eyes around this time and placed the felt on my Fall Guy so I could better visualize the end result and more accurately place his body parts. However, I didn’t actually glue the felt eyes on until after I completed sewing my Fall Guy together.

Here is the order I recommended sewing your Fall Guy in:

1. Sew the face onto the body.
2. Sew the feet onto the body, centering them with your Fall Guy’s face.
3. Sew the arms on onto the body, centering them on the sides of your Fall Guy. I sewed my Fall Guy’s arms 16 rows down from the top of his head.
4. Next, glue the eyes on your Fall Guy. A hot glue gun works well for glueing felt onto your amigurumi. If you do not want to glue the eyes on, you can also hand sew them on with a needle and thread.

5. Sew the crown together by meeting both ends together. You’ll see a crown form. Sew along the edge where your ends meet. See the above image.

And now, you have your finished Fall Guy & crown!
